While standing in line at my favorite shop De Dampkring, I couldn't help but notice that the Diesel box was filled for the first time since I can remember. I asked the guy behind the counter, and he told me that he'd finally found another grower. I asked to smell it, and when I smelled the 50g box, I was immediately delighted by the fresh, citrusy aroma of this delicious strain. It had been a while since I'd smoked this cross of Mexican sativa and Afghani, which always gives me a delicious, active high. I can always value being stoned, but I just like being a bit more clear in the head. The Diesel ended up giving me exactly what I want.

When I got home, I took my weed from its little baggy. I examined the biggest bud. There were plenty of brown hairs, and when I looked a bit closer I could clearly make out thousands of tiny trichomes. I have a strange habit of breaking off a little bit of weed, and slowly sucking on it to find out what the taste's like. This one has a clearly citrusy aroma, and it struck me that it must be delicious to cook with it. Maybe one day I'll give you all my Béchamel con Cannabis recipe... dope1

At any rate, I ground a bud and packed it in my pipe. My first hit I didn't inhale, I simply wanted to taste it, as one does with a cigar. The taste was similar to when I had bit into it, fresh and citrus-like, and generally very pleasant. It's not too harsh on the lungs, but I can imagine a novice smoker having trouble with, a spliff or joint of this stuff. A bong should offset this problem though. The nice thing about this one is that the flavor remains in your mouth for some time, and being a pleasant tasting weed this isn't a problem at all.

All in all, this is a very pleasant strain. I can happily recommend Diesel to medical users, as well as recreational users.

Happy Smoking!
