Over the last few months, you may have noticed a bunch of changes around these parts. First of all, we would like to bid a fond farewell to Photo Editor Andi Von Doom, who has sinced moved to Ontario to pursue other work. We wish her all the luck in the future.

On that note, we've also discontinued our involvement with the Tokin' Hot Chicks  modeling project. It's been a long road, but we felt we could better focus on our core mandates by committing more resources to our main content. Please contact Managing Editor Ændrew Rininsland if you have any questions or concerns about this.

Okay, enough sad crap. Here's what's new!

First off, we've completely redesigned the site to be more functional and user-friendly. There are still probably a few bugs to work out (Notably, please tell email us if you get an "Invalid Token" error when logging in.  Going to the Community section and logging in there generally always works.), but hopefully we're close to having some sense of regularity around here.

Secondly, please note that we're upgrading the Community gallery system sometime in the next week to make use of Flickr galleries. This will allow you to share your photos however you want and avoid having to upload files to multiple places. More information about this will be posted once it's installed. For now, please create an account at Flickr.com if you have not already.

Thirdly, we just hit up the Sled Island, Mukwah Jamboree and Motion Notion festivals and will have some coverage up over the next few days. Stay tuned! Also, if you're going to a festival and want to cover it, or if you're want organizer wanting to help us cover your event by providing press passes, please get in contact with Entertainment Editor Johnny Elbow!

Fourthly (Holy crap, how long is this thing?!), we're planning a mighty convey to trip over to Shambhala, August 7-10. See our group in the Community area if you want to be a part of Camp Hotbox!
